Doug Johnson

First and foremost I would just like to thank the lord for saving me when I was nine years old. I started playing guitar when I was around eight years of age, and when I was about ten years old I started playing the electric bass. My dad sat down and taught me enough to get started. I played in a gospel group with my mom and dad for several years after that. I started playing bluegrass during the late 1970's with group based out of Knoxville, named New Dawn. I am now married to a beautiful wife, Miki, and we have two children, Candice and Mitchell. I started filling in on the bass with New Road around three or four years ago. I started full time with them this year, 2004. ~ God Bless,
Doug Johnson
